Journal of Pedagogic Theory and Practice is a peer-reviewed scientific journal with an international editorial board and an international review process, published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. The journal publishes original scientific papers that have not previously been published elsewhere, covering various fields related to education and pedagogy. Its aim is to advance research productivity and promote high-quality scientific research in the field of education.
In addition to the aforementioned categories, the journal also publishes book reviews.
According to the classification of journals adopted by the Area Scientific Council for Social Sciences of the Republic of Croatia, the journal is classified as an A2 journal.
The journal is indexed in the following databases: Educational Research Abstracts Online, Library & Information Science Abstracts (LISA), MLA International Bibliography, and Hrčak – the Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals.
The journal publishes papers in Croatian and English.
Školski vjesnik is published twice a year, in June and December, in both print and electronic editions. Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year and should be submitted via email to skolskivjesnik@ffst.hr.
The first issue of the journal was published in 1951.
The full texts of articles published in this journal may be used free of charge for personal or educational purposes, provided that the rights of the authors and the publisher are respected.
