Abstract
The first chapter of the book addresses the philosophical problem of a perfectly omniscient mind with respect to the experience of ignorance. The author seeks a solution to the problem within the concept of the unconscious. In the second chapter of the book, the author takes Auriol’s concept of objective being (esse obiectivum) and Meinong’s theory of objects as a framework within which to discuss the problem of truth. The third chapter of the book analyses Shoemaker’s concept of temporal vacua with the aim of pointing to a possible scientific justification for the concept of non-causal determination.
