Journal of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split (Zbornik radova Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu) is an international peer-reviewed academic journal with an international editorial board and international peer review. The journal publishes scholarly and professional articles, as well as previously unpublished conference papers, in the fields of humanities and social sciences, including linguistics, literary studies, history, art history, art studies, philosophy, archaeology, theology, ethnology, and anthropology.
In addition to scholarly articles, the journal also publishes reviews, book and journal reviews, translations, obituaries, news, and other contributions of academic interest.
The journal is classified as an A1 scientific journal in the Republic of Croatia.
The journal is indexed in databases Scopus, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library), Google Scholar, Linguistic Bibliography and Hrčak (Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Papers).
The journal publishes papers in Croatian, English, and Italian. Zbornik radova Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu is published once a year, while submissions are accepted throughout the year via e-mail at zbornik.ffst@gmail.com.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a process of two independent reviews. The editorial board ensures a standard double-blind peer-review procedure.
The first issue of the journal was published in 2008.
