Journal of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split is an international, peer-reviewed, academic journal, published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, University of Split, Croatia. The journal publishes scholarly articles in the fields of humanities, such as linguistics, literature, history, art history, arts, philosophy, archaeology, theology, ethnology and anthropology.
Besides original scientific papers, it also publishes book reviews, journal reviews, translations, necrologies, news as well as other contributions of scientific interest.
The journal is in category a1, according to the decision of scientific journals’ classification by the Scientific Area Council for the Humanities of the Republic of Croatia.
The journal is indexed in databases Scopus, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library), Google Scholar, Linguistic Bibliography and Hrčak (Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Papers).
The journal publishes scientific papers in Croatian, English, and Italian.
Journal of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split is published once a year, in December of the current year, in printed and electronic edition. Submissios can be sent to zbornik.ffst@gmail.com throughout the year.
The first issue was published in 2008.
