The paper explores the four general principles of the UNCRC within this context, emphasizing the tension between protection and participation. It argues for a balanced approach that empowers children as active agents in shaping their digital experiences while safeguarding their well-being. Recommendations include fostering digital literacy, promoting ethical online interactions, and establishing robust regulatory frameworks.
