The book Christianity and the Spirit of Postmodernity: The Rediscovery of Ethos examines the manifestations of Christian ethos in subjective religious experiences within postmodern society. Drawing on a phenomenological-soci ological perspective, the author analyses the relationship between religion, cul ture, and contemporary social transformations, while exploring the conditions under which experiences of the sacred, personal identity, and moral orientation are sustained amid pluralism, secularization, and post-secular configurations. The central research question addresses how Christian ethos is expressed in the subjective religious experiences of contemporary believers. The theoretical framework is grounded in the phenomenological sociology of Max Weber and Alfred Sch\u00fctz, Mircea Eliade\u2019s concept of the sacred, J\u00fcrgen Habermas\u2019s theory of the post-secular society, and Charles Taylor\u2019s reflections on the conditions of belief in modernity. The empirical component is based on qualitative research conducted through in-depth semi-structured interviews with seven members of the association \u201cChristian Academic Circle,\u201d analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings indicate that Christian ethos in contemporary society is arti culated through experiences of the sacred, conscience, internal dialogue, moral responsibility, relations with the Church and community, and processes of per sonal spiritual transformation. Religious experience thus emerges as a dynamic and reflexive dimension of identity in which personal spirituality, social relati ons, and cultural transformations are mutually interwoven. The originality of the book lies in the integration of phenomenological so ciology of religion, contemporary post-secular theory, and original empirical research on religious experience, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical discourse and empirical understanding of lived religion.
