The research is based on 1 \u2013 4 grades of elementary school. This graduation work is divided into two parts. The first part is based on generally meaning of term kitsch, on its beginning and art\u2019s areas which term contains. The second part contains whole research review which aim was to determine the amount of teacher\u2019s kitsch knowledge. Research had set four hypotheses and it is carried out with surveys based on a sample consisting of 193 teachers of elementary schools from these counties: Splitskodalmatinska, Dubrova\u010dko-neretvanska, \u0160ibensko-kninska and Zagreba\u010dka.
